I’m a New Zealander with a love of beautiful things.
Dance & music were an integral part of my childhood. Fulfiling my love of arts I studied English and classical literature at University and I still enjoy studying my passion topics such as diamonds, gemstones, languages, photography and writing.
In my quest for cultural knowledge I embarked on a career in the Wine Industry for over 15 years (hic!) and for the last fifteen years I have been adding sparkle as co-Director of TORY & KO. Jewellers with my talented fine jewellery designer & business partner, Victoria Taylor.

My love of travel has always been strong which has begun my side interest in travel writing…
Luckily my architect husband ‘Mr. M’ and our daughter ‘Miss S’ also love to travel so we spend as much time travelling as we can. Most of my wanderlust centers around food, wine, architecture, fashion and fragrance, but I am also drawn to anything sparkly: seeking inspiration from art and jewellery wherever I go.
